For this fall’s CREATE Mentoring Competition, students designed buildings out of shipping containers to meet a community need. In addition to the design, students also had to complete a cost estimate, engineering component and trades component. Industry mentors gave the teams feedback throughout the project and judged our in-house competition to determine which two teams would go represent our class at the final competition in Sacramento.
